Membership Selection

The Valparaiso University Law Review conducts a writing competition at the end of the spring semester for those students wishing to become Notewriters. Students will be asked to write a Case Comment regarding a recent Supreme Court case decision. The Case Comments will be judged by members of the Editorial Board, and judging is anonymous. The top nine Case Comments will be given invitations based on score alone. The remaining 16 positions are based on the Case Comment score and the student's grade point average.

Interested students are encouraged to attend informational meetings held in the spring each year. More information regarding time-lines and instructions will be discussed during the meetings.
